Taking a leap back to the 18th century for an exquisite French tea party!

Have you ever thought about a virtual time travel machine  back to Marie Aintoinette for a delectable sip of tea in the gardens of Versailles Palace, home of the most tragicly famous 18th century queen consort of France? We might be far from invention of such device but here at The Tea Party Company, I tried to convey the feeling of it with a beautiful French inspired photoshoot.

From details such as the antique detailing of gold rococo elements, the inclusion of vintage imperial fine english china portraying courting scenes, luxurious gold cutlery and gorgeous teapots depicting elements according to the theme, once all the right elements are gather together, it’s almost as you can feel how magnificent the atmosphere of the Royals was.

For the dessert table, I picked my most treasured cake stands: the ones heavily ornate with lots of crystals chandelier style from Opulent Treasures ,  and with the help of 3 tiered food stands, luscios sugar confections were displayed to please the most exigent of crowds.

Taking this pictures would not be possible without the help of my friend Melissa with her outstanding collection of increible furniture & props and her son George, an incredible artist that with his life size oil paintings gave this shooting a real feeling of that era I wanted to achieve. The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (2)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (3)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (4)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (5)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (6)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (7)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (8)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party (9)The Tea Party Company French Marie Aintoinette Tea Party
